Issue Tracker
Our issue tracker hosts all of the current issues for the Rifidi project.   If you have an issue which you would like to submit, be it a defect or a feature request, you may sign into our issue tracker.   There are a few different types of users who access the bug tracker.
  • Reporter - Lines them up
A reporter is any user who can file bug submissions. They are typically not involved in the coding effort though they play a significant role in assisting developers with identifying problems and verifying results.
  • Developers - Knocks them down
Developers are the users who resolve the issues which are filed, whether it be enhancements or defects.
  • Issue Tracking Managers - Cleans up the mess
Issue tracking managers are users which act as administrators for the project. They assign issues in the bug tracker to appropriate members of the development team. They are also responsible for keeping the bug tracker clean.
All new users are initially of the reporter type, but can progress rapidly based on their contributions and skills.   It is expected that all contributors to the project follow Rifidi's bug tracking guidelines found in the Developer's Guide.
General Development
It is important for the Rifidi project to have code which is well-written and easy to maintain.   Therefore, a number of general development guidelines, such as desired coding standards, have been set for the project.   These guidelines and other project development specifics may be found in the Developer's Guide.
Subversion
The source control tool of choice for the Rifidi project is Subversion.   More information on accessing our Subversion repository may be found in the Subversion section.
