Quick Start Overview

This quick start section is geared to help you start using the Rifidi Edge Server.   The guide below provides a walk through of how to take a simple scenario or a business case and to utilize Rifidi Edge Server and Toolkit to take it from conception all the way into production.

Pre-Requisities

Before the quick start scenario may be performed, it is required that Rifidi be installed and is able to be started.   Visit the installation section for specific information on setting up Rifidi Edge Server or refer to the Rifidi Wiki .

In order to use Rifidi Edge Server properly, it is helpful to have one of the supported readers or use our Rifidi Emulator product to emulate a reader and its data.  

1) Set up a Development Environment
